An antibody–antigen interface

A real antibody Fab gripping hen egg-white lysozyme. See the heavy and light chains, colour the six CDR loops, and compute the exact residues that form the binding interface.

Structure: the HyHEL-10 antibody Fab bound to hen egg-white lysozyme, PDB 3HFM (Padlan et al.). CDR loops are drawn at approximate Kabat/Chothia residue ranges (H: 26–35, 50–65, 95–102; L: 24–34, 50–56, 89–97). Interface residues are those with a heavy-atom contact within 4.0 Å across the antibody–antigen boundary, computed live from the coordinates. Viewer built with 3Dmol.js.
